3D17.org: "People often talk to communities, but how do communities talk back? 3D17.org aims to answer that question by allowing a large number of people to collaboratively create some text, be it a letter, fax, or email. Have you ever thought what kind of letter the combined intelligence of 1,000 people might produce to support your opinion? 3D17 will answer that question.

1. Create a new document by clicking on New in the menu to the left
2. Choose a short title for the document (this will appear in its web address), a proper title, and some initial text.
3. Once you have created the story you will be able to refer other people to it.
4. Refer others in your group to this URL where they can view the document you just created.
5. Let them make amendments which they can then vote on to determine which make it into the document"
